There are so many things that could factor in but I can tell you that your are not alone. Two years or more wait is actually very common, even among the military applicants. Have you gone to a interview prep company yet? They are worth their price for the insight they provide. They track who gets called and hired and who does not. They know what works and what could get your app rejected.

Whatever you do, don’t give up. Consistent and regular updates to your app is heavily weighted at all of the big 3. Take half an hour each week and update your times.

AA recruitment claims to have 17,000 apps on file, 9,000 they consider competitive. At 30 - 45 OTS new hires per month, it takes a while to be one who gets there number called out of 9,000 eager applicants.

Recruiting has said the number still updating their applications has dropped to 5,000.

Envoy isn’t even the fastest way of the WO’s to get to AA. If flow is what you want (WHY!!) Peidmont has the lowest time to get to AA.

And you can bet most of those 5,000 have apps in at some if not all of the other 5 majors (Delta, United, Southwest, FedEx, and UPS). That is just over a year’s worth of hiring by the majors.

Don’t forget they all are ramping up hiring as well. And we have not even hit the peak hiring years, about 2020. Those peak hiring years are going to be sustained for quite a while.

The RJs are going to look like a bargain basement sales table after the rush, in the not too distant future. (I am not called RJ pilots bargain basement, I have great respect for them. Just the RJ industry will look decimated and what we see today will change significantly.)

Any base or equipment news for the next class? I'm in the 11/28 class and hoping for PHL 190 .

Don't know about you but I'd choose envoy over jetBlue hands down. Why, because of the flow. You have that insurance of flowing to mainline.

Everyone on property at envoy will be at mainline AA before that military dude.

It's usually not released until within about a week of the class start. The coordinators (who'll you'll email to coordinate indoc) will provide it upon request when it's available.
