The faster we can bring in quarterly results in the billions, the better I'll feel.
The quicker they do that AND we get profit sharing in a joint contract....the better I'll feel!

Thanks. We used to do it that way but combined dom/intl several years ago. Before the AW merger, I think.

appears Doug said that no aircraft/crew shifts will happen until after at least single carrier status.

Parker/Kirby did talk about it at the CLT crew call. Equipment might fly into other companies crew bases but it won't be based there or cross company lines. Example given was 777 into CLT - basically said don't expect it but they've got a lot to look at and it could happen. So AA pilots could fly CLT-LHR but be based in an AA base. Simple enough, just make it a 6 day trip - XXX-LHR-CLT-LHR-XXX.

Lax is senior. Fo's in every seat are somewhere in late nineties range I believe.

I was hired in mid 2000. I can hold any base we have (less the super-senior SFO base, which was my base in the early aughts). QOL is a different story, and I can only have that in MIA, LGA, DCA, BOS, and LAX, in descending order.

AA has never understood West flying. Hopefully Parker rationalizes it to the point where we can make money there.

The paradigm is in the middle of being shifted, simply because new guys are coming on board, so old guys can finally go where they really want to go, and there's real movment again for the first time in 12 years.

Most bases have their crap flying, which means that, if you're really really interested in moving there, you'll probably get there in a year or two (exception: SFO), *provided we keep hiring.*

When and if the hiring ends, you'll be stuck, most likely wherever you are, most likely for years. Join the frikkin club, and I hope it doesn't happen to you (or me again, anytime soon).

Good luck to all

SFO (virtual base) either 737 or S80, not sure.
STL is about to close but it had 75/76, S80

Wanna get senior quick? Come to Miami. Only thing senior here is the Europe and (most) Deep South stuff. Otherwise it has always been the most junior base system wide. New hires are currently training on Mia 75/76 as an example.
Can any AA pilot please elaborate on the SFO base? Given the amount of hiring currently taking place and considering the hiring forecast, how long can a new hire expect to sit reserve in/on any base/equip.

Thanks…Kid

I would imagine it's very early in the AA hiring process to reasonably predict this. Regardless, someone getting hired now would be on the front of the "wave" and should be well off.
