Which "half"?

Well....we'll just have to see who gets seats and where.

You mean like Johnnie Mac asking the company in the crew news how to report East pilots. The company used the West data in court against the East when making their injunction case. You'll get yours because I won't trust you and many pilots won't trust you or the APA.

I addressed this in a previous post in a response to Relay. Evidently you have nothing to do today so why don't you look it up and try to think of a clever response.

If we go to arbitration, the year one rates aren't really discussed in the MOU (that I could find). At any rate I'd count on $40 per hour until 2016 if we arbitrate. Then it could stay that way, or maybe they will go up as the rest of the rates will (depends on the arbitrator).

If we end up with a deal, then they will probably be around $72 per hour.

Well yes, they recognize that a competitive starting wage is necessary in the future, but an additional reason is they want to lure more senior Envoy captains on 18 year scale over to AA to reduce their longevity costs there.

Yeah, but there are hundreds who've passed it up because they couldn't swing the pay loss. They figure it would take too many years to break even to say nothing of getting ahead. The new scale virtually eliminates any significant loss and they'd break even within 3 years or so making it more enticing even for those in their later 50's.

Envoys "longevity" problem has always been the primary criticism and concern of management.

Didn't know that. I had a blast flying the J32 out of LAX.
