ORD questions...

ORD is relatively junior in the 737 (Mid 2015 hires). The 757 had spots recently awarded to pilots hired in the last 2 years. 757 is shrinking so I assume that will change. Not sure about the S80 situation. The Airbus was slated to go to ORD. I heard that has changed recently. I'm a LUS so my info may be a little off. I assume Slice will be along soon. He seems to have a good grasp of everything.

PHX gets 737
MIA gets 330
DFW gets more 320s and loses some 737?

As of right now those are just city pairs flown with no crews based there(ORD 330/LAA PHL 767).
Losing 20 767's in the next 15-16(?) months plus some 757's. Don't plan on flying the 757/767 in ORD unless you're already in it. Might there be done opportunities? Sure, just don't plan on it.
AB in ORD was a big rumor(alleged plan) by the end of 2016. Now the answer was 'no AB' to ORD.
I'm guessing we'll see the big plan in the third week of November(std release of next year's flying, primarily the summer's big jet flying which drives the rest of the schedule).
Not everyone is going to be able to switch a/c or bases at will once bunny hopping is allowed. Training slots, or lack thereof, will run the show.
No inside info. Just trying to pay attention to what the company says.

If you get the 737 it should be quicker. I know of some guys on the 320 who sat their lock-in, got awarded ORD 737, and were withheld for 6 additional months. Not the biggest deal, but that's a lot of drives to ORD and commutes in the jumpseat on some impossibly full flight to MIA. If you end up on the LUS side, I have no idea how it'll shake out. I'm sure there will be some sort of a training bubble once SLI gets sorted out and implemented and the MOAB (mother of all backfills) is run.
