I don't understand why anyone bids G3. All the crappy schedules of G4 for way less money. I'd much rather be more senior on a g2 plane.

Look at PHX 76T and try and wrap your head around why anyone bids that. They all make less than they would on the Airbus.

The seniority whack? You mean when you went from having 20 group 4 aircraft to nearly 100 group 4 aircraft to bid into?

OK, more recent source one month forecast August 2017, 24apr17:
And yes our 767 groups include the 757, so the percentage would be even lower. APC figure 51 757s.

777/787/330/767/76T CAPT 1389

TTL CAPT. 5888
TTL FO. 7165
______________

TTL PILOTS 13053

WB CA TO TTL = .106 or 10 %

This should be the most accurate data FWIW unless my math is wrong. Only deviation to numbers would be if reserve lines were counted. IDK but the ratio should be close either way.

Call me crazy but I don't really consider the 75/76 a widebody. The pay differential is very small, after taxes it's barely any more. Plus you take a seniority hit going to it.

I don't know what the reserve system is like on it, if guys are flying as much as the NB's, but from a blockholder standpoint...no thanks, I'll stick with my similar time zone G II stuff.

Irrelevant because those other 80 came with pilots as well.

Post percentages not numbers if you want any validity. Without them your arguement is invalid

The number was 57 Group 4 for L-AA prior to the merge.
21 Group 4 for L-US.

East LUS guys, using stove piping, will lose about 15% of their G4 CA slots.

Over the next 15 yrs they net less G4 CA slots except for 3-4 years. The gain goes to the LAA guys.

So the East got whacked and R57's question was valid.
