Latest school house info. Class of 6 started, but it was suppose to be 8. Last week, two dropped out, HR found two more, but then two more didn't show up. Sooo, it took ten to fill a class of 6, that they wanted to be 8.

Class of 22 coming for the 747. Let's see how that goes. It's usually 16. Otherwise, classes have been filling as of late.

Unions are not illegal in the Kong and strikes happen, just not often. We all know why.

The CX guys and girls have been fighting for years. The company is simply outsourcing jobs. If Atlas flies the work, it hurts the CX pilots and their fight, HANDS DOWN!

Your argument about refusing flights and getting fired would be the same as saying, I need a job to feed my family so I have to cross the picket line.

I am not trying to pick a fight, I am trying to get you onside. This is an attempt to skirt around fixing the problems that exist at CX.

So yes, refuse to fly CX freight while they are in industrial action.

Atlas pilots can refuse to cross a legitimate picket line and have job protection. Refusing to fly a flight of an airline that is not on strike could result in being fired.

Are you suggesting that we get fired in order for you to get a better contract?

Atlas pilots are fired up and will do whatever we can to help fellow pilots up but not including getting fired. If you've got any suggestions, we're listening...

Unfortunately there is no way we can refuse to fly CX flights without putting our own jobs at risk. Braniff wants us to risk our jobs to fight his battle.

I am willing to do that as soon as Braniff goes on strike at CX. I will risk my job to help in his battle.....AS SOON AS HE RISKS HIS JOB TO FIGHT HIS BATTLE.

I am actually not at CX but have a very close friend that is. For the record, 49 (actually 51) did try that years ago. They were chosen at random btw.

Trying to raise awareness for the fight that has been ongoing. You just need to be aware of what it is you are/may doing is all. You find yourself in the same position so try and show some unity and strength. There are plenty of Americans at CX and former CX at Atlas now.

Have the unions speak to each other to find a way to combat this. The Union in 'Merica is mush stronger. USAOA!

Thanks for listening.

Braniff,

It seems like you have good intentions and our guys are more than willing to do what we need to do to help.

As several have mentioned on the various threads you posted, I think you might be misinformed about the proper channels and legal thresholds for these actions. For example, our cargo at Atlas is currently being subcontracted out to various companies; especially during peak season....some of it legal and some of it under investigation.

Before we would request other unions to stop turning wheels, a few steps have to take place. I'm confident our brothers will honor those actions when and if, just as we have for other carriers as recent as this last December.

Stick together and back one another. There is nothing these companies desire more than division in the pilot force; and, there is nothing they fear more than our unity. The ABX strike in November got more attention than they want you to know. Support each other regardless of pilot group, local or union. You are sending a message every time you interact with each other. Make it the right message for our mutual betterment. Thanks!

Spike
