There are 35 sections in the contract. About half of them have been TAed and those should carry through to the new contract. The only section which has been completed that has a financial affect on crew members is hours of service. So if you’re on a domestic DH the company will put you in business if the trip goes more than 8 hours I believe as opposed to the current 16 hours. I don’t know if they clipped the duty days. I heard one time they were close to working out Vacations, they just needed to finalize how much we get and how much it’s going to pay. There are reports the company finally pushed over their idea of a complete contract that included about a 10% raise but ended the additional pay for working on days off and ended rig pay for time in base. So yes, there will be changes. But I don’t think they’ll be significant.

This is a company that put out an email with 9 sentences gloating about how they’re going to start providing trash bags in the cockpit. Just let that sink in for a bit.

I see there are quite a few reserve lines based out of Tampa - how senior do those go as they aren't based in CVG? (YES I've read the forum and I know reserve goes senior!! Wondering if that applies when the reserve is not in the actual base?)

There are also numerous split lines that have night stops in Tampa - as the most junior guy on the CVG base would I have any hope of picking those up or does anyone have a rough estimate of when someone would be able to hold those (1/2/3/4 years ?)

Just trying to make an educated decision on Fleet choice. Appreciate any insight.
Reserve out of Base goes the most senior. DH days are paid and less r2/3 days to do. Florida R2/3 goes senior for sure. Spilt lines are great, especially if you live nearby. A new NH probably won’t ever get awarded on initial bid, but try your luck on the VTO and probably grab it there 50/50.

This is exactly what I was going to post. Atlas was founded in 1992, and we just got trash bags. 28 years of stealing plastic bags from hotel room closets. It's unbelievable........

Over 100 years of Boeing building airplanes and they still can’t put a garbage can in the airplane either.

Funny how a couple of years makes the bad look good, it’s all perspective

I’m not a wagering man, but I’ll take you up on a beer! Haha. I honestly don’t know what to expect in terms of our pay. More than we’re making now is all I’m anticipating. I won’t be putting a down payment on a boat anytime soon, I can tell you that.

I do think we’ll keep gateway. That seemed to be on the chopping block a while ago but talk of losing it has long since died off. Your guess is as good as mine though.

Scope, just like everyone else, is my biggest concern.
