Small mistake, the company has 2 767s per month coming this year and an option for 20 more. And those rumors of Airbus 350's,
the company already said they want an all Boeing fleet.

Yeah, I was kind of shocked to see that we are doing more flying for you guys outside of peak. Is this normally allowed under your scope, or did you guys have to cut a deal with the company?

Our scope section is outdated and we were told it was fixed last time around. Obviously no one expected a worldwide pandemic, but our scope needs tightened now more than ever. That said, the company pays a penalty to the union (then distributed to the pilots) for as long as they are wet leasing outside peak.

The MEM flying doesn't really surprise me. Seems like a move by FedEx and Alibaba to put the screws to Amazon and UPS.

We'll see what the lines look like and how permanent any of this stuff actually is.

FedEx is more than double the size of the UPS air arm but is left in the dust when it comes to ground but FedEx is catching up to UPS in that regard. Amazon, the purple actuaries actually went up when dropping Amazon.

As of 31 May 21, FDX had 406 “Purple
tails” whereas UPS had 280 +/- Browntails.

Any guess on how many 73 FOs will be awarded the 777 next month?. Not sure if it'll be a one time thing or what the deal is.
