Well now that the Director of Training and the 747 Fleet Captain have “resigned” today and J.C. has taken charge they’ll be in the best of hands.

NOT GOOD. The two heads in Mia ”quit” on the same day. Writing is on the wall.

Lesson for the kids: don’t force terrible pilots thru training even if you’ve been ordered to do so.

Should have been Carlson and Dietrich instead.

Agreed. Also the investor earnings call is on for tomorrow. So if someone needs to look like they are doing something, this is a good short-term move to focus attention on departing managers and away from executives.

The writing has been on the wall about the crash for a while now

They should be trading immunity for testimony against BF and JD. That won't happen though...

At-less had 37 pilots quit in January. Not including retirements.

New hires are now leaving quicker than ever before, realizing life at 50 hours, no OT, no upgrade, is their future.

It is clear from reading the docket that as far as the NTSB is concerned the buck stops at the Director level.

Despicable. But I should not be surprised, senior management is untouchable and unaccountable throughout the economy.

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly. The scumbags we have in charge will never be held accountable. Scott and Joe, while company men, were probably the only ones who seemed to actually sort of give a rats behind about us. Now Carlson is running training... Hell, that actually involves working. I'm thinking he will let the training center flounder and die, then contract it out to the lowest bidder. Will make it easier once the eventual shutdown comes.
