Not out of altruism, but out of rational, enlightened self-interest. Realistically, the guys who are going to the right seat in ACMIs (or LCCs, or anything that isn't a Legacy) are not going to be the aces of the base, for the most part. The thing is, the plane doesn't move without an ass in both seats. If the plane doesn't move, it gets parked or sold. I'm trying to learn as hard and fast as I can, as I suspect 90% of the noobs are. But taking the attitude of "you don't belong here" doesn't help anyone, including the salty. I agree, btw, that there are the 10%ers who just scream entitlement and want to raise the gear and stare at their phones, but most of us want to get to be competent, capable crewmembers, and we're dead anxious to absorb the knowledge you have. By helping us, you help yourselves.
That is a great attitude. keep at it.

More demanding as in soul destroying & dehumanizing, being able to treat every employee like dirt, I am sure, more demanding as in actual skill???

I feel your pain. 90% of the F/Os I flew with on the Airbus did that, then wondered why the sim checks were so hard.

One great thing about flying the 767 and 777 with American is that the guys I fly with all hand fly a fair amount. The ones who do the most are the better pilots.

Fact, heard about it from the guys that were there. They were shocked!

FWIW, CAVOK, light winds.

A sharp one you are. Try "then", not "than"

But you're correct. Why work at Walmart when you can come on APC and whine, or is it wine about how miserable your life is.

Always enjoy the Grammar Nazis.. "English is also capitalized if you're keeping score..
