Any info on the best type for somebody living in NYC? Worst type? Also, I spend a good amount of time in Europe.

Don’t really understand what your getting at? All TS stated was factual data no outright attack or misinformation.

*Just curious, has our hiring department called yet? Honestly, just curious on what the wait times are these days for others trying to get on board.

Data point from last week, 2 days after a rec for a very well qualified candidate. No movement before the rec.

I still don't get it. Classes pretty much empty, except for the 74....50ish pilots leaving every month....yet people not getting interviews.
Something must be coming our way after SOC.

Don’t believe it has anything to do with the mandate if it doesn’t get canceled or pushed back as it shrinks the pilot group significantly. Good percentage fall into the issue at hand as well as other outfits. Unsure what is going on… After the SOC, interesting thought and I wouldn’t discount much of anything here…

Probably the 74 JFK base.
Currently most junior FO JFK is from 06/2020
76 JFK is also 6/2020.

No harm no foul yet you could probably knock it down a notch or two.
Atlas Air Hiring
That was your second post on this forum.
My vacation comment was as much to the UK question as it was to you.
You just took off and ran with it.

*Seriously the Qantas contract could go away any moment. Or it may continue ad infinitum.
ACMI - two parties sign a 5- year contract after 6 months one party pays the early termination penalty from the contract and walks away.
You just don’t know.

And the 76 is *mostly* domestic flying for Amazon?

767 CVG base is a mix of mostly domestic Amazon and some Asian DHL flying, along with the odd charter flight.

767 ONT base is almost completely domestic Amazon. Lots of flight to Hawaii as well.

767 JFK is mostly passenger AMC flights. A lot of European / Middle East trips. The base now also has some DHL flights to EMA.

Again, please don’t make a decision solely based on what a base offers now.
