Any information on how many mandatory retirements are happening in the next few years?

Dang, what’s crazy is that I still wouldn’t be able to hold 737 Captain if I was still there….

Wrong AB... It's only approximately 10 per year for the foreseeable future. Easy to work out from the seniority list.

Totally! Just talked to a good friend who left us for UA in late 2019 who is finishing up 737 CA OE now at his preferred base.. Good stuff!

*I think he could have upgraded earlier as well.

Per retirement date on the seniority list:
CY 23 - 32 total retirements.
CY 24 - 52 total retirements.
CY 25 - 47 total retirements.
CY 26 - 62 total retirements.
CY 27 - 82 total retirements.

Giant pilots has that same data and it states the following:
CY 23 - 32 total retirements.
CY 24 - 52 total retirements.
CY 25 - 47 total retirements.
CY 26 - 62 total retirements.
CY 27 - 82 total retirements.

So it's at least as accurate as a guy with the seniority list, control f and his fingers. Are you sure you replied to the right thread?

It goes on to say there will be the following retirements:
CY 28 - 89 total retirements.
CY 29 - 88 total retirements.
CY 30 - 68 total retirements.
CY 31 - 87 total retirements.
CY 32 - 78 total retirements.

Yeah it's probably worth noting that it takes relative seniority number 1100-1200 (out of 2800) to hold widebody captain here. 1700-1800 seems to get you 737 CA in CVG. But they haven't awarded 737 CA upgrade in the last couple months.
