Impact or not recession is not a mirage any longer no matter what perspective one might hold. Businesses aren’t booming enough by any means to offset the impacts of the shutdown. Crazy times on every issue or agenda one might have. Time will tell. Brown’s better not bigger might just show to be the best approach on that side of the fence.

Yeah, I agree there may be some reasons not to expand right now. Interesting that we have 3 more 747s and 4 more 777s about to hit the line. I really hope they have some customers lined up for all those new airplanes. And FYI they are max hiring into all airframes right now.

Overall or in the end it doesn’t matter what rules we live under as restructuring is going on, planned on or awaiting forced action if the future forcasts are correct. I know, “there are rules” and then there are lawyers so loop holes, amendments or “extreme restructuring” have their ways. We just have to keep up the good fight. Demand is demand and bills need to be paid and profits maintained to some extent or perish. Optimization has arrived or will arrive in some form or fashion as it’s always being strived for. Business is business and if you had one or have one it’s understood. Contracts are constantly tested to put out fires, squeeze more juice and be more efficient. Business is war in the most non lethal sense. (Not to be misconstrued with actual war).
