You hear all kinds of stuff. We're going to exercise more -8 options as Boeing gets more desperate to keep that line going. We're getting new 767 pax airplanes and the old ones will be converted to freighters. We're getting 757s. We're getting 777s for any number of carriers. Same with iPads, AQP, trip trades, and so on. Been hearing the same rumors for years. At some point, at least a few of them will come true.

There are always rumors, but nothing seems to have "legs" at this point. The first quarter results and a positive cargo sector forecast are likely all that is driving the stock.

But I'd love to be wrong :)

That makes very little sense... What would Delta do with an ACMI Cargo company? FedEx or UPS would make way more sense and I don't see that one happening any time soon.
