As a single guy who spends most of my off days traveling anyway I would absolutely love to be at Atlas. It's literally the only place I've put any real effort into applying. I just hope that I get a chance to interview and convince them.

Guys waiting on the interview calls, basic math says they will need to interview in Aug to refill the pool. The pool was at 90 before the July 20th Class got called. 21 from that class plus 21 more in the Aug 10th and 31st classes and the pool is almost empty. Add in the rumored Aug 17th 767 class and the pool isn't even big enough to fill a Sep class.

Okay, it's been two months since I took my knowledge test. Should I email them?
I'm guessing it's one of two things...they're so backed up they just haven't gotten to me yet or they're trying to tell me to look elsewhere for employment.

Atlas's growth has always been two steps ahead of its infrastructure.
email them. Fairly often.
3rd possibility is that your paperwork is on the left front corner of someone's desk when it should be on the right front corner. And I think that most of us who have worked here for awhile would bet on #3.

No joke. I just flew with an FO who spent 9 months calling and emailing, only to find out that he was talking to the FA hiring contact. Once that got sorted he was in the next class.
Take that as a warning. This place means well, but it is not a smooth running machine.

I took the tech test in April and got a phone call last month to interview. I missed that call, and madly tried to call back. Eventually I emailed the HR rep who had called me. She emailed back that due to my 1 Sep availability, I should call back in August. I had set a reminder on my calendar to do so, and instead I got an email today from a different HR rep offering me an interview on either 25, 26, or 27 Aug.
Excited for the call!

Meatballs...make sure to email them often, call & be the squeaky wheel and definitely go to a job fair and meet with Atlas face to face any chance you get! They Hire many many many pilots from job fairs...the face to face is absolutely essential.
Glad my guide on 1099 helped out....That's awesome with the 91%....It looks like most of the pilots (out of the 7 I have chatted with so far) that use this guide are averaging in the 90's...great work applying yourself and studying...that's the hardest part for me, lol...I can find what to study with the best of us, however when I have to strap myself down to a desk and actually study and learn it I have to get someplace totally quiet away from home to eliminate all distractions....squirrel....where....cool...hehe
