Thanks! I've got 2 internal recs, both of whom I flew with at my current employer. They both said Atlas flying is easier than where i'm at. 90% of my family still lives in Germany (south of Frankfurt) so Atlas could be a way for me to see my family more frequently.

Ps, I used your gouge and got a 91% as well. So thanks for that :)

Anytime Cbusbased, I'm really happy to hear my test guide & your own study discipline helped you rock that test. I'm happy you have decided to pursue a career with Atlas...let me know when you get the call for the interview!

Folks familiar with Shanghai, I'm on an overnight here and looking for the electronics store that has been mentioned a few times. Where might I find this glorious place of cheap electronics gear that caters to airline crew?

Sorry for the diversion!

I think the cheat sheet is something like 4-3-2-1.
Line 4, 3 stops, transfer to line 2, 1 stop to the science and tech center.
Once there you will be molested and fondled by many "entrepreneurs". There's a couple shops guys mostly go to, just look for the airline stickers etc by the name of the shop. I think Dave is in A-20.... That's a random guess. He doesn't haggle and has great prices and speaks good English. If you go somewhere else, remember to give them your lowest price at first and then keep going lower ;)
Good luck.

Hi,

I got a link to the test, preparing to take this exam. Can anyone comment on the "50% ATP" questions portion of the test. Part 91, 121, aerodynamics, just gimme a general idea what that means. The gouge on 1099 is my guide and I hope I can pay it forward to in the very near future. Gleim book, NAT track charts, FAR/AIM and other books all on the table over here.

review all non- figure questions. Wx, some performance, aero for sure.

The science and tech center, mentioned above, has a HUGE shopping area underneath the building, which has electronics and everything else.

U can take the subway, or walk there. Walking is not recommended is the air quality is bad. The hotel concierge can help you with maps and directions.

Hi Shibuya, The ATP art of the current online tech test comes from the old bank of ATP questions before the FAA changed it this last year.

The absolutely best way to study for the ATP part for me was to buy the Shepperds ATP interview review online for $39....When you call them to buy & download it the girl/guy will swear it's not the right thing to study for the Atlas tech test, however they are 100% incorrect....I saw about 45 questions on my tech test that came directly from that exact ATP test bank!! Exactly like Nojoy said, mostly wx, performance and aerodynamics :~}

Or save the $39 and go to this website for downloadable PDFs of the entire old ATP question bank, arranged by chapter.

Aside from the fact that it's free, the advantage here is that if you know how to use the CNTL+F function on a computer, you will have a fully searchable database of every ATP question available to you during the test.

Come across a question you don't know the answer to? Go to the chapter of the subject matter (weather reports, aerodynamics, etc), hit CNTL+F, and type the question into the search bar word for word. You'll have the answer in 10 seconds.

Good enough to get a 99!
