They'll get back at you guys, they are swamped with the hiring.
74 classes to increase in size in 2016 to 32 and 24 new hires every other class. 76 to 18 new hires. They are projecting to hire 400 new Pilots in 2016.
Good luck!

During recurrent last month, both JD and SA stated the goal was 2,000 on the list within a year...going to need a lot more than 400 new hires to reach that!

That will NEVER happen under this contract. They are smoking crack if they actually believe that.

I had my PT yesterday. The sim instructor said they now want 2500. I belive he said classes are increasing from the usual 24 up to 40.

And in other news.......new hire OE will be projected to commence 3 months from the type ride due to lack of LCA available for upgrades and new hires. Simulations accross the country will be saturated with atlas pilots due to currency requirements and numerous recently type folks who haven't completed OE will be hired at other carriers prior to commencing OE.

This as all sarcastic but with some bit of truth.

Yup it's true. If atlas wants to be successful, they need to fix some gaps in its training program and contract. Otherwise they will struggle.

I hope they do. It would be great to see the growth that is being projected here.

Beginning with that low low low training pay would be nice. But they get plenty of applicants so they probably won't have to touch that if they don't want to.

I got busy and wasn't able to respond for a few days, but no answer for me either. By the way, should I use the group rate at the hotel? I'm wondering if they are looking at that or not. I have a ton of Hilton points and it would be nice to use them instead, unless they want you to book with the group rate.

They don't care where/how you book. I know plenty of people that have stayed at other hotels or were local with no hotel and were hired.
