Atlas Air Hiring

BayBum and 30West,
Congrats! Welcome aboard. Good to have the next class below us in the pipeline. I've been here two days and I'm still damn glad to be here.
Polar I think you're on to something there. I think that the HR folks come down from New York to do some HR type of paperwork stuff with the new hire class the same week they do the interviews on Tues, Wed, & Thurs. There seem to be, however, a couple of times a year they skip a cycle here or there. Word is still one new class every three weeks.

BayBum,
The Miami gig is about 8 weeks...on that you are correct. But the IOE is after that, and you'll likely go home for a few days to a week or more, depending on the training pipeline, instructor availability, etc.
Congrats, and good luck.

no after your done with loft they give you some time off, i've heard as much as 3 weeks right now before you start IOE. Get your observation ride as soon as you can before you go home to take your pay while your sitting from training pay to line pay. good luck glad to hear all the good news!

I've been added to the class on the 20th. Missed the initial call from L, but talked to her this morning & got added. Think I was in 8's interview group in March.
Regarding "business casual", I didn't even wear a sports coat to the interview (the only 1 in my group). It wasn't intentional. My buddy who got hired, last Fall, made it sound like his group wore slacks & nice button-up w/o a coat. Though I looked clean & professional, I stuck out in my group...but blended in well with the panel...lol.
They want to know you truly desire to work there, but also wanna ensure that you'll be someone they can hang with for 2+ weeks.
Good luck.
