Is anyone getting initial calls?!?! Been anxiously awaiting for a while now. Find myself staring at the phone praying for it to ring....

It's been mentioned a few times in the thread, and seems to be consistent. Initial calls seem to go out in the first 6-8-10 days of the month, with interview slots being in the last 10ish days of the month.

If you listen to the company presentations (available on the website), they say that they run multi-year contracts, and about 10% of the fleet comes up for renewal a year. They don't specify much beyond that though. The strategy seemed to work during the last downturn.

The contracts with all the customers are usually 3-5 years...in addition to what JerrySpringer said above.

Any chance I get the info on who to address in my cover letter and who it needs to be sent to?

Thanks

That's also been covered in the thread. All they ask for, and all they seem to need is the resume in the format requested, and the PAQ form. A cover letter really isn't going to do much.

No new info other than what we have posted here earlier...that classes of 12 to 16 starting every three weeks, at least until the fall.

Keep applying, and updating, and try to call any friends, past coworkers, etc to get an internal recommendation...that does work. We are a small outfit and internals get the attention they deserve. The candidate becomes a "known" quantity, rather than someone off the street.

Good luck.

I was told not to apply again for a year after I was turned down. Is that a year from the interview date or a year from the phone interview or a year from when I first submitted my resume?
