Hvyhauler- what was your mastery score?? I took mine this morning, I have a P and a Passed, but my score is nowhere near the "magical 66"!! Truth be told, I can't understand how anyone could finish that test in the aloted time without ALOT of external help! |
ATP Reference: Not sure of the page but I bookmarked it in safari when I saw that.
Index of /faa_exam/atp It's from 2010. The questions are on English but the figure references are in Spanish (I think). MTC DIRECCION DE PERSONAL AERONAUTICO 08/10/2010 DPTO. DE INSTRUCCION 5:10 PREGUNTAS Y OPCIONES POR TEMA |

As far as finishing goes, my brain seems to remember stuff I read pretty well, and I have had nothing to do for the past couple of weeks but study. It helps to not have to work when trying to refresh a ton of info. |
I'm a bit confused as to how many questions that test has...
Is it 50 or 100? I read the whole thread but I guess I probably read too much and now I'm not sure... |
100 questions, 60 minutes. It goes by FAST, so time management is very important.

40. I'm not worried about that (well mostly not) since I think the test may have changed pretty dramatically from the time of the mighty "66".
You won't know what you really scored until you go down for the interview, and even then, they may not bring it up. (at least I can read numbers upside down) If called for an interview, I'd suggest brushing up on whatever areas you felt you may have been weak on. One phase of the interview reviews what you got wrong. |
When I finished my online test a year ago (50 questions) it gave a generic "66", and P for passing; I found out during my tech interview in MIA that my score was actually much higher. I was also asked about the questions I missed, so do brush up on those!

6) Page 102 of the NATS manual (13.3) will help with most of the questions you might get asked.
