Anyone know the typical interview pass rate lately?

Are you sure on this? This is copied from the company email on 12/27:

"Positions in the new base are expected be awarded on February 15th with a March 2, 2013 effective date. Please ensure your standing bid is up to date."

That being said, I expect you may be right that we will know this month. The original flying was scheduled to start in March, but since then it has moved up to 1/30. So, they probably have moved that award up to this month since the CBA allows them to release a new base bid on the 15th of any month.

Finally, my further understanding is that these two airplanes will start flying in CVG and then move to the Asia flying at a later date (pending another change, of course).

The routes starting 1/30 are BRU-CVG-BRU and MIA-MCO-CVG-MIA.

Anyone know how long until a new hire can update their standing bid. We don't show up in the system yet

More than likely, it's not going to matter as you're in a three year seat lock as per CBA 24.K.3. However, the Company can release seat locks at their leisure. So hopefully, they'll get you in the system before too long.

From recent experience it seems that ~50% have been getting through. Mind you, that is a SWAG from just keeping in touch with folks from my interview group and talking with others. It may be more than that, probably not much less, unless HR really dropped the ball on one days worth of interviewees. Don't sweat the percentages, or your qualifications. We have folks in our class that run the gamut of experience and age. If you get the interview, just remember they are looking for people (in the words of some of the interviewers) who they can trust with a $300 million jet on the backside of the world, and someone who can you can get along with for 12 hours in a cockpit.

New hires cannot switch airplanes but may want to bid a different base when openings are created during a vacancy bid. The standing bid is used for both aircraft type and bases.

Here are some numbers being thrown around. Class of 32 to start on Jan 28th (74 and 76). More interviews on 5,6, & 7 Feb, 14 per day. That is an increase from 12 per day.

Are any class dates known after the Jan 28 date?

Mr. Naive here, with no heavy tin expereience (except CRJ 900) do regional pilots with no connection have any chance of a call?
