A new revision is coming out real soon for the -400. Don´t get crazy over memorizing this or that. As far as flows are concerned....wait until you´re done with CBTs.

Concentrate on showing up and being a decent person who can work well with others.

:)For those who submitted their information in the initial hours of the window being open, I suggest you attempt to verify this information (through your informal sources, not suggesting contacting HR) was received in the proper format.

We all know they were tweaking the email address and some of the data formats on the PAQ. It looks like mine (I'm a MAC Desktop User) did not get received properly----fortunately I have been updating and resubmitting every few weeks.

Reviewing for the test....I am heeding 744's wisdom as there may not be a second chance.

Best to all...and for the Grill Judges. Got a few new tricks since I have been reviewing Grill Mastery/Safety flows. :)

Yeah, it's interesting that the site now says this;

The PAQ cannot be accessed via any MAC device
Even though I can download, fill it out, print it out, etc.

Have any calls gone out for more interviews this month or for October?

hazrd 09-19-2012 07:50 PM

I know there is a class starting Monday, for anyone tracking things. Buddy of mine is in it. Interviewed on the 29th of Aug.

Advice from an interviewer.....

The phone interview is critical. Do not do it while you're driving, or babysitting a crying child. You must be focused. Tell the caller that your hands are full or you're busy and want to give your undivided attention to the call and give them a time to call back.

It should be a five minute call, where you should be answering questions, not asking questions. You should know just about everything you need to at this point from this forum. If you ask too much, then you haven't done your homework, in their view.

Touch base with your guy doing the referal letter. The title to the referal email must match with your PAQ. That is how they are matched up. The letter is not even considered until the interview at MIA. The resume, phone interview, and test get you to MIA. The letter carries a lot more weight if you have actually flown/worked with each other.

Here are the instructions for the letter titles:

2.Use the subject line ‘Recommendation of (applicant's last name), (applicant's first name)’. For example, ‘Recommendation of Smith, John’.

3.Attach a PDF copy of the resume for the pilot you are recommending using the file name ‘(last name), (first name) RESUME’. For example, ‘Smith, John RESUME’.

I've lost my list of subjects on the test. Does anyone have the page # it is on so I don't have to go through 480 pages? Thanks in advance.
