Also, I wouldn't believe everything written here about the new contract as of yet. Think someone already posted that there are still some open items and nothing has been put out as official.

Figures . . . it's in your email as your on the Atlas side. There's nothing to the effect of an email about it on the Polar company email. I won't hijack the thread but this is DEFINITELY not good for the pilots as a whole if Polar is left out in the dark on a systemwide bid when everyone knows we're merging.

The main thrust of the email was to let the Altas guys know what was coming, so they could bid accordingly. Like the LAX base closing. A need to know for the LAX based guys to reconsider their bids. I don't know that Polar guys needed to know any of this, for the time being. I don't think the company was being evil. It came from the Atlas VP of Crew Resources, as a heads up.
