Also looks like the pay scale is a bit different from what i was presented at the interview.. Anyone have an updated payscale they can post??

Anyone can submit info for the "airline profile" just like wikipedia. Wouldn't put much emphasis on that. Current payscale is what they showed you during the interview. If it was the CP or ACP that gave the presentation, I can bet it was straight forward and honest.

Hiring is only for the 737 for the foreseeable future.

Sims are being done in either MIA or DEN, depending on sim availability. Everyone will do Cat II/III training in MIA, because the DEN sim isn't certified for it.

Id say expect more hiring in the fall, maybe even another 777 class. Counting everyone in the training pipeline, we are staffed +2 FOs for the 5th Triple. I don't see that lasting very long, considering we just lost 4 guys to WGA in 1 week. Guys on the 737 have interviews elsewhere before they even finish training.

It's true boys and girls it really is that bad....the most recent class on the 737 had 8 people, so far 1 quit for family issues during training, 1 went to an LCC and 3-4 just left for WGA with more likely to follow. If your thinking of coming to 737 you better make sure you fully understand what you're getting into…. this is a night freight regional airline run by clowns. During training expect to be on $2,000 a month which is really $1,500 after taxes and insurance for 4 months until they are forced to pay you your 61hr guarantee after month 4. I would say this has been the case for 70% of people in training recently… Once you finish training if you are a commuter you will often fly into CVG for your trip and by the time you land scheduling has already taken it off your schedule (for whatever reason they make up) and assigned you short call reserve. Oh did I mention they will refuse to pay for your hotel room, yippy! I would say this happens about 3-4 times a week. Now don't get me wrong we have a great pilot group and the best chief pilot and assistant chief pilot you could ask for but they are completely hand cuffed by the army of Comair idiots running this place. Buyer beware

yup, CP and DO went to Soap begging for anything to help the 737 guys due to the rapid turnover, they were told your job is to hire and train, my job is to run the airline
