No, no, and no. Stuff is at a standstill here with the aquisition.

How was attrition for Feb? I thought you guys were running a little lean on the 777 staffing?... Are the two 777 still in their heavy checks?

Our oldest 777F (almost 6 years now) finished heavy check in January. The second oldest (also, almost 6 years old) finished check in February. All 5 are flying around the world for DHL every day. Attrition was probably about average last month. I don't have the numbers. There were still interviews being conducted a couple of weeks ago for potential hiring later this spring. The are no firm newhire classes planned at the moment. That could rapidly change in the near future.

November newhires are completing OE. The January newhires are still training in MIA.

Over staffed slightly at this time due to the next 2 airframes being delayed by DHL/the acquisition. Hopefully more aircraft later this year.

Overstaffed IMO, 30-50 hour lines (under guarantee) in April with no aircraft in heavy check. I know several guys that are sitting in hotels doing 5-7 days reserve. Of course, crew planning also built more lines with people dead heading all over.

Appears they may have been over zealous to interview lately? HR really tight lipped regarding any possible classes, or not.

Currently there are no additional aircraft coming. HOWEVER, that could change rapidly (or not) after the Atlas aquisition closes in the next few weeks. Interviews were still being conducted this week to top off the pool. November 777 new hires are finishing OE. January 777 new hires are in sims. 737 training is still back logged due to a lack of Checkairmen who keep getting hired away. If you want to work for Southern don't hesitate to send in your resume.
