At ExpressJet with over ten years of seniority I get a 6% 401k match and a 5% direct contribution. That's a lot better than what I'd get at Atlas. Unfortunately this company is on the ropes.
I'll apologize for the turnip truck comment, perhaps you're too new to understand how it works. Maybe it's just displaced anger from decreasing career expectations talking.

Pretty high. I live in ANC, but was offered a 767 class based in CVG.
I reminded them where I lived and asked to wait for a 747 class. They didn't budge and said that the company needed me to take a 76 class. I declined because I'm not willing to commute for this job. After the first year, 767 pay is lower than the 747 pay.

It would be a good idea to do some research prior to entering a thread and misrepresenting the facts. Atlas pays 50% of the pilot contribution up to a maximum of 5 %. A brief sampling of regional retirement plans shows that Endeavor pays up to 5.25%. PSA up to 6%. Skywest up to 7%. Envoy up to 8%.
Have you ever complained about your airline? How would you feel if the same question were asked of you?
Of course Atlas pilots are leaving. Had you done any research at all, you would know that we are leaving in record numbers. 34 last month alone including 5 & 6 year wide body captains.
Furthermore, if you want help getting hired at Atlas, it would be better to avoid insulting the pilots here with antagonistic questions like that.
It wasn't always this way. We used to be pretty enthusiastic about Atlas until management; 1. Abruptly ceased contract negotiations with the union, 2. Began an attempt to force an "amalgamated" contract on the pilot group, and 3. Sued the pilots at Atlas.
There is so much more that you could find out about the reasons to avoid Atlas if you wanted. The information is all here on APC threads.
So, please don't take the easy way out and make flippant comments about our fight. We are simply trying to keep applicants from making a big career mistake.

I believe it's 50% up to 10% of your paycheck.

1. The Company shall contribute annually to each participating Crewmember’s account an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Crewmember’s contribution (such Crewmember contribution for the purpose of the Company matching to be limited to no more than ten percent (10%) of gross pay), which shall vest as set forth in subsection 28.A.2.
Vested after 3 years.
It sucks and it's below industry standard but the % DC8DRIVER quoted are incorrect.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. It is the Atlas contribution that max's out at 5% if the pilot contributes 10 % (50% of the first 10%).
The percentages quoted for the other airlines that I listed are also company contributions, not the employee contributions.

As of Jan. 1, we had 1,457 pilots on the seniority list. Multiple sources (company and union) confirm that @ 120 pilots are in the pipeline for UPS and will be leaving Atlas this year. That's 8% of the total pilot group leaving JUST for UPS.

As of Feb. 1, we had 1451 pilots on the seniority list. A net loss of 6 despite continuous hiring.
Applicants, are you listening?
