Everyone I know is looking and applying. I would say easily anyone who has 10 or more years left in their career is looking.
The latest letter from the ivory tower just encouraged everyone even more to leave. No one believes the words on paper, we all see the actions of our company.

Not only is it a bad place to work with a terrible contract but getting more dangerous by the month as the experience levels drop drastically.

And starting day 366 at UPS, they will be making more than anyone at Atlas.

Day 366 at UPS = 7 year 747 capt Atlas (just based off hourly rate)

Start factoring in benefits, retirement A/B fund and who knows off the charts.

Out of curiosity, how did you come to this conclusion?
(2 - year pay @ ups = 7 year pay @ atlas)
Average flight times? Using min guarantee, which I think is the only apples to apples comparison, the numbers I'm getting are vastly different.

I guess it's irrelevant and I truly feel sorry about the bs atlas/polar pilots are dealing with. Today it's you tomorrow it could be us. I hope there's a good resolution to your nightmare, and the sooner the better.

From APC site

ups 171 × 81 × 12 = 167k 2nd yr FO
Atlas 184 × 62 × 12 = 137 7th yr capt

I think that's how he came up with it

Atlas 12 year (Max) 747 Captain (Guarantee only)*
213 x 62 x 12 = $158k

UPS 2 year ANY Equipment First Officer (Guarantee only)*
171 x 81 x 12 = $166k

*Minimum Guarantee is simply one metric of comparison with UPS pilots. Their compensation package beats the Atlas compensation package in every single metric of measurement that one could imagine. There really is no comparison.

Here's the 767 pay: Atlas 12 year (Max) 767 Captain (Guarantee only)
179 x 62 x 12 = $133k

Thanks.

It seems that the longer we're in this industry the more we realize that we are all in this thing together regardless of where the checks come from.
