Quote: Five years?! Where did you come up with that?
I meant that literally, they'll probably be hiring in five years. I didn't say they won't be hiring sooner, I'd just expect it take five years to find out where breeze is really headed and to get a union.

Quote: We have LCA at OO leaving for Breeze. I know they’re walking into an airline ran by DN, but you’re giving up a lot to take a big risk with many unknowns.
Leaving a regional for a start up? You call that risky? Thinking you have a career at a regional is risky.

Senior at OO is about as least risky as that gets, probably safer as far as continued employment than a startup. Worst that's likely to happen is your base closes.

E-jet will be day trips. A220 2-3 day trips. 3 year aircraft lock.

Day trips are fine but hard to plan if you don't know the cities they will base out of

Has anyone interviewed recently? I applied a few weeks ago and did the pre-recorded interview where they ask questions like “why do you want to work here?” and you record yourself answering the question. Haven’t heard anything since then (that was almost 2 weeks ago&#128528. Also, I’ve been hearing the “Moxy” callsign on the radio flying between ISP and TPA. I’m guessing they’re doing proving runs with the E-jets?

I know some people who have already been invited to do the next step of interviewing who applied during the last window. However, I wouldn’t say not hearing anything yet means you weren’t selected. There is literally one person who does all the hiring for the entire company.

And yes, the 195 are flying proving runs already. They started nearly two weeks ago and should be completed any day now.

Not exactly..

To the person who asked the question , if you met all the reqs, you might want to reach out to Breeze recruitement and follow up.

Quote: Breeze is going after the lowest competitive market in the industry (around 100 seats), with industry low pay labor, A/C lease that they basically stole. DN’s competitors are currently fighting BK, and burning cash daily. Breeze could be more successful that his other ventures combined.

As you stated, zero risk huge reward for furloughed pilots. Not to mention from a motivational standpoint, you’re now competing directly against Delta in SLC, which if your a Compass furlough, is personal.
Do you know something Breeze has not announced? Prior statements by the company do not mention any service to or from SLC. The last public info shows a SE US operational focus. They have stated many times they plan to avoid major hubs.
