Maybe. But I think that’s the goal of the low CA wages and terrible 401k. It’s not set up to be a career. That said, they will be steadily growing for quite some time, so I don’t see that as an issue, at least not for a while. But even places with tons of lifers like SkyWest still upgrades people and still gets applicants. Don’t think breeze will ever get to a point where they have only a fixed cadre of left seat lifers. Even the much higher paying LCC/ULCCs lose a chunk of FOs and CAs to legacies and FDX/UPS. Breeze has a long way to go until they are paying “too comfy to leave” wages. I see both churn and growth happening for a quite a while with ample upgrade opportunity. But, we shall see.

Well, looks like they did not get enough takers.
Breeze intended for all of its flight attendants to be degree-seeking students. But lower than expected recruitment numbers have required the airline to open up regular positions with no requirements of being a student, airline spokesperson Gareth Edmondson-Jones confirmed to Insider.

Rubs me the wrong way, personally. I know, I know...never besmirch the good name of Neeleman. Data mining and constant ad emails are good for me.

This is a very long thread with a lot of trolls, so forgive me if what I'm asking was answered 50 pages ago. But, does anyone on here actually work at Breeze? I know the pay is low, it's a start-up, etc, etc, etc, I get it. But some of us want certain bases and better QOL more than to work at Delta, and we understand that if ends up being the next Jetblue it could be a great place to work if you get in near the beginning. I see on their latest pilot job posting on their website the E170/190 type has been moved to the "preferred" section. I flew RJs, and then 737s before covid started and I got out because I couldn't take the loss of QOL I would have had to endure. Is TPA going to be a pilot base? Are there plans to start hiring for non-typed FOs for the E190s and eventually the A220s? Would appreciate if anyone who actually works here can provide some insight.
