How many Air Missions do you guys typically do in a day?

Anyone know the time requirements for Australian pilots? I wouldn't be surprised if they require lots of command time on a larger jet and 7500 hours or more experience. I dont think they will be hiring 1,500 hour Australian pilots.

Yes, more junior pilots will be going to Tampa to fly the A220 but the ones hired on the E-190 will get the opportunity to bid it later. There is a reason for the 3 year seat lock.

It is the nature of a startup. Obviously there are good and bad things that come along with it. It is not for everyone, for sure, but to the ones who take the risk there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Just my .02 cents

If times were different I think a lot more ppl would be willing to take the risk. I just read the US is expected to be 12000 pilots short next year. How is breeze going to compete?? They sold ppl on seniority, seniority will be good anywhere you go with retirements and growth. Then they said come to breeze to be home every night, just move to one of our bases. Now they’ve proven no base is safe on the 190. It is clear that the main focus is the 220, 190 pilots will always take the backseat. They pulled out the carrot of a potential west coast 190 base, when the time comes and it doesn’t happen, they’ll pull out the next carrot which is you’ll be able to transition to the 220 soon and it goes on and on and on.

How is the timeline for training? Also are CRJ guys getting CJO's? Last but not least how long to hold ORF??

Who is mainly applying to Breeze these days? The 1500 hour time builders/CFI crowd, experienced regional FOs, regional check airmen like many from CPZ did? In this hiring boom what is the draw to Breeze unless low timers looking to fly a 190 or 220 over a CRJ?

A lot of ppl did for the TPA base but who knows now. Their numbers weren’t great to begin with. “Hey come here to make less money and commute to day trips in ORF, until we close it”. Great selling pitch.

I agree it sucks!!! The great thing is that anyone who wants to leave has lots of options right now. A good time to be a pilot!!

The 190 will continue to grow, just not in Florida 💀

Why can’t the E190 pilots in Tampa displace into the 220 positions opening there. That is how it works at virtually every airline in the country.

that was the reason most of the guys/gals applied at (my best buddy included) breeze, thinking it was going to work like every airline in the whole USA. But never forget breeze has that piece of sh..... named Trent Porter, hence doesn't function like every airline in the country. "fly where you, live, live where you fly" my as........

I loved how they specified it in the map today. Butte, MT base coming first you heard it here.
