Steep turns in a airliner is one of the easiest maneuvers you can do. If you can't do that it's going to snowball downhill fast.

Yes the only reason why it’s in the syllabus really is because it’s a good way for the instructor to see what kind of caliber of pilot they’re going to have to deal with. Never fails, every time. The ones that can’t do steep turns well are usually not the best flying wise the rest of the sim ride

Yes it’s true. There is someone I know who was just terminated with no second chance. This person has two other jet type ratings and many years of experience flying at the airlines. They were also robbed during training. Lost all their life savings and the company did not care. There’s many Breeze pilots who are very upset about the new training program that breeze has made. They are leaving and applying elsewhere. They just changed their training to have all pairings be FO/FO pairings which is the worst pairing possible in the industry. They also just started implementing flows and sops. So imagine being trained by some dumbass instructor who doesn’t know the flows or SOPs and being failed on your checkride for this. Breeze is not the same company it once was. RUN….

Saw a comment from someone saying that they busted their steep turns and weren’t given a chance to retrain and do them again the company just let them go.

Steep turns are a required item for a type rating.

I don’t understand how someone could get their CPL, having to have been checked on steep turns in a 172,PA28, etc and not be able to do one in a transport cat jet. It’s vastly easier in the jet, especially so in a sim

Got a class date starting soon. Don’t think Breeze sends out any aircraft specific content to study prior to the start of employment. Any a220-related stuff out there that I could start studying to be better prepared????

BZ will send out a study guide before class - thats the bible and what you have to hit hard. There is an App that I like and still refer too, look for A220 Guide by Onboard by JCG.
