Compass or Skywest

From CFIs who just broke 1500hrs, some with the restricted ATP, 135 freight guys, other regional pilots (lateral moves), corporate, to retired heavy jet military pilots. So, a mixed bag. From what I can tell at SKW, its more about your attitude & you as a person. For the most part, I've met nothing but cool folks that would be great on a 4 day trip.

How do the benefits compare between the two?
Does Compass pay you over guarantee for picking up trips on your days off?
I know Compass has the Delta thing going for them - but in 3-6 years, so might SkyWest. You never know in this industry what will happen tomorrow.
How quickly can you hold a line at Compass??

I would head to compass if it were me. Upgrades should be fast, good potential for growth since their costs are low due to a young pilot group. Skywest has some senior folks that won't be going anywhere, they are bigger and probably more stable but upgrade times will probably be longer.

I would look through the last few pages on the compass thread in regionals, but If I remember correctly something like 6 or 8 months is ringing a bell. That might be a build up line and not a full line but short either way.

LOL are you saying its a bad thing to fly as an FO on the Bro and gain some experience then build on what you learned and move to a CRJ? Pay is equal 1st year so let's see... Line holder in a month or two (making more than someone on reserve) or CRJ FO being on perma reserve being TDY'd to MSP or where ever to rot that's not your base..... Think I would take the BRO... Then transfer to the jet and gain seniority in MSP (if that's where you want to be).... But hey that's just me
