And I heard Mesa's LA flying is done later this year. But I'm pretty sure that was the plan the whole time.

How many airplanes does that ultimately equate to?

Wouldn't it be for the Eagle/Envoy's flow-thru you wouldn't be there right now. Stop being so ungrateful. I know it sucks being on reserve but hey you're at AA making big bucks right? Stop being lazy sitting around all day on your ipad posting on these regional forums. Go to the gym or something. I promise you'll feel better.

I gave my opinion to the pilot concerned like anyone else has the right to do (and it even INCLUDED the strong consideration to choose Envoy in his circumstances) and noted yet another Envoyeur making claims of certainty and SELLING Envoy, yet just like always, the Envoy Katzenjammer kids go on the offensive. Just because they've turned that Eaglelounge circus into a cesspool that no one want's to pay for anymore doesn't mean they have to do that here. I argue that it's THEM "derailing" things.

HOW can this be permanent considering those figures ?
My understanding is that the block hour shifts are temporary as Envoy is still going to contract significantly. Again, Envoy needs 40-50 new-hires in class starting NOW since it takes months to get someone on line (as PSA and others prove) and yet I hear nothing about this ?

I was in the jumpseat on a Mesa -900 last year & the CA said that LAX was going to be a domicile for them. PHX shrinking, ORD gone...what about the employees? This place has more rumors and propaganda than Joseph Gobbles. It may not be the same Mesa from 5 years ago, but there are better options.

Yes, they closed ORD and CLT, and PHX is shrinking. However, they OPENED DFW and IAH, and expanded IAD. Base closures are not an indication of how well or how poorly the company is doing. If they were closing bases and furloughing, that's a different story. Resources are being reallocated to other bases that are growing.
Fact is, they just got 30 new 175's, and new CRJ900's. And for a while, upgrades were happening at under 1 year with the company; most recently this month with a JAN 2015 hire.
LAX was always temporary. Rumors flew about a possible base, but that's what they were; rumors.
