You're completely out of touch and you don't have enough information to make comments about the state of Mesa Airlines.
Yes, they closed ORD and CLT, and PHX is shrinking. However, they OPENED DFW and IAH, and expanded IAD. Base closures are not an indication of how well or how poorly the company is doing. If they were closing bases and furloughing, that's a different story. Resources are being reallocated to other bases that are growing.
Fact is, they just got 30 new 175's, and new CRJ900's. And for a while, upgrades were happening at under 1 year with the company; most recently this month with a JAN 2015 hire.
LAX was always temporary. Rumors flew about a possible base, but that's what they were; rumors.

But if they are only upgrading 14.7 captains per month for the next 18 months (about 270 captains) and projected to flow perhaps 450 or so to AA, that's a net loss of almost 200 captains positions over the same time and that doesn't even include outside captain's attrition, which could boost the deficit to as high as 250 to 300 LESS captains jobs at Envoy by end of 2016. That was Wilson's projections.
The are many things going on at center port right now with some infighting as to what to do with all the regionals. There does appear to be more things going on the any of us know, or could say for some, but right now there is more positive news headed for Eagle. All these announcements will be in small, incremental steps.

BECAUSE THEY WILL ONLY BE TAKING FROM ENVOY!
Further proof that the flow at Envoy is not only working better than planned but a valuable tool.
On that note, RJ Pilot please don't be like eaglefly. I know you like to put on your troll hat sometimes...but when you are not busy being a troll you can be a good guy. When you put out stuff like this it sinks down into eaglefly and first class level and you don't want to go there.
Speaking of first class...this news must be killing him. AA only taking flows from Envoy while he and the rest at PSA have to wait 20+ years just to interview.
RJ pilot, Just be cool man. As you said, no more AA street hires for the rest of the year so that they can take strictly Envoy flows and recalls. But I think you already knew that.
