Well in case you haven’t been paying attention, our current contract although not perfect is a dramatic improvement over our previous one. The duty day is not flawless but for us it’s better. Rome was not built in a day, and in our situation our previous contract was so poorly written by a snake in the grass Teamster, that it will take time to undo all the damage he inflicted upon us.

I feel bad that you lost far more than the paltry 25k we have complained about, but don’t think you are the only professional aviator that have taken it in the backside in this profession. Many pilots have been hurt for a variety of reasons, but the bottom line is we must look after our own best interests. What works for you and your pilots is great, more power to you. What you need to understand is not everyone has “your” contract, and we are slowly trying to improve ours.

Be assured we won’t let the door hit us in the ass on the way out the door, and good luck with your new contract I hope all of you get everything you deserve.

Still longer than any decent airline would have and some of you guys ***** because they want it longer!

And no response on unpaid 1 in 7's. That really set the bar higher!

They are all too busy counting the money Connie is paying them.

The simple fact is many of us no longer care about DW, and hopefully we will be moving to ALPA soon so it just doesn’t matter.

Damn right I am counting the money, first year FO, already into 6 figures with a few months to go.
I keep running into Atlas and Southern crews who to my face are trying to shame me about long duty days... I am willing to bet that you guys actually have longer duty days than we do. Just because it is on paper, doesn't mean we get abused by it. Maybe once I had a duty day in the past year that exceeded 18 hours? Only once!
Perhaps you should reflect on why long duty days on paper is a non issue at K4?? You Atlas guys must really get abused over it. We do not.

If you think Teamsters are bad.....just wait until you are represented by ALPA. Been there, done that at 3 airlines. Unless you are at a Major, they could not care less.

Go independent or form your own Teamster local.

Duty day BS aside, the lines/schedule next month suck as usual.. :mad:
