Welcome to ALPA! I just read the letter from the ALPA president he sent to all of us ALPA members welcoming you aboard. By the way, I don’t believe that your contract is a drag. Not because it’s I feel it’s a good (I don’t know anything about your contract), but because it’s a different business model. And even if it was, being a member of ALPA wouldn’t change that. Hopefully, companies, (FedEx included) will quickly realize the pilot pay shortage and start to improve contracts by necessity.

I've got to admit I AM going to miss the Teamster magazine. I so enjoyed the back section summarizing all of the legal proceedings against the members with mob ties, members who were embezzling money from their locals, etc etc etc.
