Also, any thoughts on how to get to the UPS ops at BWI from pax terminal?

Thanks

That would be great unless a cabbie would know where it is.

Also, I'm still looking for BWI-ATL flight info. A couple guys posted help with the other direction. Thanks!

You'll just have to call the number. They can tell you the exact times. There should be something out of BWI around 10pm going to either RFD or SDF. I'd go through RFD if I had a choice. Much less hassle. There would also be a PHL-ATL leaving around 3am.

With a good many new hires getting ANC assignments, I'm just feeling out the feasability of commuting to ANC out of SDF. What's the reality of a newhire doing this in lieu of moving to ANC? What should I expect if it's feasable to commute?
Although I don't fly for UPS, I was domiciled in ANC for just over a year with FedEx, and what you can expect is this: 1) it's a very loooooooooong flight up there from SDF/MEM/ORD/EWR/PHL; 2) the commute back is even longer, because of get-home-itis; 3) it's a very do-able commute, if you find a crash pad or bed and breakfast, and commute up a day before your flight starts, go to your pad and get some rest, then the next day, go fly. It really worked well for me and I've no doubt that it could work well for you. Unless of course that UPS makes the schedules such that you can't commute at all, ie, 3 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 1 day off, etc, etc. One of the really nice features (at least at FedEx), was the fact that the vast majority of Asia flights got back to ANC about an hour or two before the flights back down to the lower 48. That allowed a seamless connection to get home. Hopefully UPS' flights do the same thing. Good luck.

Great info. Thanks. I don't mind living in ANC but I'm just exploring all the options.
