Also, if there’s a decertification vote in the near future, the NMB will most certainly be investigating election interference. Making false statements (as an example: “If you’re in the union you can’t participate in the ESOP”) in an attempt to influence the vote is a violation of federal law. I’m 100% certain that the WhatsApp chat logs and emails are being preserved for future legal action! Who do you think will take the hit in the end, the billionaire owner or the self-serving morons who did his dirty work? |
Can’t tell if it’s GP or CS posting as WGTruth but it’s similar. FWIW my experience there was that it was exactly as expected. Startup airline with smaller operations operating old airplanes. I disagree with the training department being weaponized and while travel had issues, I never sat economy middle row for 16 hours. I also made a ton of money and flight time.
Like any place, there are some bad apples there. But also some phenomenally good people. If you don’t like it, leave. If you’re thinking of applying, just read the threads as whole to get an idea so you’re not caught off guard and just temper expectations. |

Management Turmoil
Everyone’s asking how/when the head dispatcher* is going to fire the lying, inept director of operations and the drunken, belligerent chief pilot. (*This may seem odd to pilots who operate on Earth1, but on Earth2, where WG thinks everything they do is better than any other airline in the world, the dispatch guy runs all airline operations.) The only real question is who’s going to replace these managers. Will it be experienced, competent professionals from outside the airline, or will it be more buttocks-licking yes men from within.
Here are today’s revised interview questions. Plenty of pilot positions available! How many Directors of Training has WG had in the past few years? How many Chief Pilots has WG had in the past few years? How many Directors of Operations has WG had in the past few years? How long has ALPA been on the property? Why no contract after that long? Does WG do criminal background checks before offering management positions? Can I be a 119 manager if I have a drunk driving and/or drunk boating and/or domestic violence conviction? Can I be a 119 manager if I have a severe, ongoing substance abuse issue? |

You started off as a laughing stock who’s not being taken seriously, but now you are really getting carried away. A friendly advise: take a deep breath, kick back in your chair and re-read the junk you are posting. And than you tell everyone on this board, that this is not a personal vendetta you are running here by trying to drag WGA through the mud and prevent the company from hiring pilots. Very sorry to see someone with this kind of conduct claim to be is a professional pilot. Or perhaps you’re not even one ? |
