I’ve been too busy with initial to get in internet fights with strangers. I have been watching the thread with popcorn though. Carry on. |

Is WGA even actively hiring? Website shows accordingly, but nobody in my peer set has gotten a call...What’s the pilot count down to? APC doesn’t appear to have been updated in a minute....Thanks!

I beg your pardon young man, but you are not a professional. You are a person who likes to hear themselves talk about the same thing over and over again. These things that you write about, claiming that it is your duty to notify others is completely false. Do you actually think that pilots don’t know the things you write about? Do you really think that you are so intelligent that you and only you have discovered all the deep secrets and that only you has connected all of the dots?
I think that if I was a crew member on a KCVG-OBBI flight that we would have a sudden decompression, suddenly be without a crew member, and miraculously the aircraft would re-pressurize, allowing us to continue to Bahrain😊 |

Last time I was in RSW it looked like Mohave East with all the parked WG airplanes.

Interview Gouge
The US military has thrown Western Global a lifeline. The flying has increased, for now. The company will have big problems again when the military flying surge ends.
Western Global is hiring. They will be hiring every pilot who wants a job until the day they go bankrupt. The number of pilots quitting will continue to be higher than the number of pilots that can be recruited, so less pilots and less flying means more planes parked. Here are some good questions to ask at the interview. They will not give you an honest answer, but it should be fun to watch them squirm. Is it true that you still don’t put pilots on full pay from day one? Is it true that the top management pilot in the company (the DO/VP of Ops) works for the head dispatcher? Will I be forced to fly with the MD captain who took off with the nose wheel at full deflection? Is it true that the training department has been weaponized to attack ALPA supporters? Is it true that I’ll be forced to ride in middle seat, back row economy class for 16 hours? When Boeing stops supporting the MD11 in a couple of years, how will you keep the flying junkyard in the air? A special note for new applicants: Sin inglés, no hay problema. |

The owner of WG correctly identified the six most self-serving, despicable pilots in his company. Two of them were rewarded with management positions and the other four were given a task. They formed a private WhatsApp group to bash ALPA and cheerlead the ESOP.
I genuinely feel sorry for the pilots who trust their futures to something they read on a private WhatsApp group rather than listen to what the world’s largest pilots union has to say. It should be really obvious which group is doing what’s best for WG pilots. As far as the ESOP, you can believe what the three largest ERISA litigation firms in the country have said about WG’s plan, or you can believe Larry, Curly, Moe and Shemp from the WhatsApp chat. |

Well if Connie was onboard. We would depressurize, open the escape hatch, toss him out, re-pressurize, and continue on. That’s how Connie would have rolled!
