Chapter 11 is voluntarily bankruptcy with the possibility of reorganizing and emerging. Will they?

Chapter 7 is involuntary, forced by creditors, into liquidation.

I legitimately don’t know with the staffing issues and maintenance problems on an airframe that’s getting obsolete by the minute how they come out of this looking good. Losing Amazon and getting sued for breach of shipping contract isn’t gonna win favors. Probably sell the assets/certificate at a more favorable price in chapter 11 and then start up Northern Global Airways in 5 years when everyone’s forgotten.

I am waiting for WGTruth to make a comment. As he isn’t currently employed by Western Global. I thought he would be right on it on the news of the chapter 11 bankruptcy And the letter from The CEO prior to the announcement. But. No. WGTruth is wrong, because he doesn't work for Western Global airlines anymore.

Don’t forget Jim created SouthernAir Inc from the ashes of Southern Air Transport. So that really only leaves some form of Eastern on his compass and that name is thoroughly worn out.

He seems to be as creative at names as Angus Kinnear, the guy behind the names of Air 2000, Canada 3000, and USA 3000.

Haven’t there been two versions of Eastern, already? The current and the old Eastern from the 1960s?
