WGA Chapter 11 paperwork
 
Hey all, I was at WGA a couple companies back. Got WGA chapter 11 paperwork in the mail. Hope everyone is doing ok over there. Lots of great people at WGA. Hope you guys can keep your employee stock program. Sad to see. If anyone needs any LORs feel free to reach out.

ESOP is gone. The company hopes they can start a new one upon exiting Chapter 11, but all ownership parties will have to agree.

What surprises me is how many guys still hold out hope that they will get a payout. The company and management personnel have stated numerous times since the Chapter 11 filing that the ESOP is terminated. To be fair, they keep using the term “The Equity Ownership Plan”, and are not using the term “ESOP”, but I think this is being done intentionally in the hopes people won’t notice and go in to outright revolt.

Thanks, but I got out. Guys are jumping ship fast from what I hear, especially on the 747 fleet.
