I have noticed that WGA is absent this peak at SDF flying Christmas freight for UPS, and nothing on Flight aware either.

I would start with UPS and FDX needing a true peak season to be able to justify contracting wet lease carriers. Talking reliability, WG was over 90% on time flying for UPS last year 😊.

You aren't wrong. FedEx isn't using any Wet Leases this peak season. Scheduled to park 15 - MD's and 8 - 757's next year.

UPS is using Atlas and ABX this year, so business must not be too bad.

True, just saw an available overtime trip flying 10 legs over a period of 4 days. Personally I stay away from that rigorous of a schedule, but someone is most definitely hammering it out for the Brown folks.
