The plan is to fly 5 MD with 3 as spares. When a plane comes due for a heavy check, it will be retired.

The ESOP was never worth the value of the paper it was printed on! This credit downgrade is just the latest wake-up call for the “true believers” that surround the owner. The company is in trouble BECAUSE OF THE ESOP. The bond money went directly into the owner’s pockets and it’s is not possible to service the bond debt with a normal, non-COVID level of flying, much less with half of the fleet parked and very little flying.

I’d keep a lookout for people starting to value the assets. Outsiders at the office, maintenance base or on aircraft conducting “assessments” would be a bad sign.

Once again, you have failed to refute anything I've said. You don't like hearing some of these things, so you lash out at the messenger. It's time to put on your big boy pants and face the truth. In the months ahead, it's likely that WG will have one or more of the following......A debt default. A ALPA decertification vote. A major restructuring of debt. A bankruptcy. A significant downsizing.

If there's a shift away from MD flying, do you think the pilots will move to the 744 by seniority, or will WG play favorites? Ha, ha! That's a joke. I can hear the HR guy reminding everyone that there is no such thing as seniority at WG. "We use longevity only for pay purposes."

In the future, please limit your whiny replies to a WG-specific thread. And you and your handlers should google "slander" before you start throwing that around. You are embarrassing yourself.

I do not feel the need to refute anything you say because it’s a public board and until I regretfully decided to reply to your childish rants, I was here providing factual information for those interested in WG. You however seem to not get enough audience within the company, so you decided to go public and throw around dirt with all the consequences that come with such a behavior.
I will reply to you at any thread I choose, since you have taken your WG rants outside of this thread. Here at APC you are not the moderator. Oh yes, slandering is exactly what you have been doing as well as whining. The only good thing, most of the readers of this thread can see through your posts and the motivation behind them.

Cause this stuff smacks of the same stuff that was in the what’s app. Desperation to be someone of importance instead of quietly working to build what’s needed. I’m with you though, the continued garbage being spewed both negates the real issues WG has and castigates the core group of talented loyal and hard working people. And it makes the union look bad by them coming here to throw around half truths.

I’m confident that it’s neither of those two. Outside of the chat, they do exhibit some class and civility when dealing with others. This guy doesn’t have the balls to confront any of us personally. I’m willing to debate him in person.

That’s good to know at least. Again, pretty much the majority of the people I worked with there were decent, solid people with an understanding of where they worked no matter if pro or anti union. No place is perfect. You wanna tell people a companies faults? Go for it, just don’t lie or slander where your at to the point it brings the rest of them down.

During a downsizing, will WG keep the foreign contract pilots and fire the more expensive direct-hired pilots?

If more MD are scrapped, will WG management transfer pilots to the 744 based on seniority, or will they prioritize protecting their anti-union pals?

With all that's going on, should I really be dedicating my efforts to destroying ALPA, since that will most certainly drive away any prospective new pilots?

I'd be happy to debate any of you, particularly the MWGAGA morons who think they're already ESOP millionaires!

You can add this to the very long list of things you’ve been wrong about! Nothing would make me happier than humiliating you in front of a live audience.

Let’s plan something late in June at the Homewood Suites - MIA Airport West. We can debate in front of any Western Global new hires that are desperate enough to take a pilot job here and actually show up. Maybe they’ll all be foreigners, but I think they will enjoy the show anyway.

I don’t want you to feel like you’re being ambushed, so these are a couple of the topics I’ll raise:

I think you should plan to debate your irrational desire to decertify ALPA. Everyone will want to know why you feel pilots at the lowest paid ACMI carrier in the US will be better off with no union.

I think we should debate your foolish belief that all WG pilots are now wealthy because of the ESOP. The company is teetering on the verge of bankruptcy, there’s no money to pay the interest on the debt, the credit rating has tanked and there’s not much flying, but you still want the pilots to think they’ve got a winning lottery ticket………that they can’t cash until they’re old and retired. Dude, this is just insane.
