Geeesh, that blows - totally true flying THAT cargo trip. I prefer the one long haul leg, maybe 2. Decent layovers sometimes odd hours will bring brain drain, but for the most part 18/24/30 or more hrs off is casual. Totally agree doing that crap flying above guarantees zombie outcomes, I see day I see night or both but not all cargo flying is equal.

I'd say your body gets used to everything. I woke up at midnight last night, for a 3am departure, done at the hotel 4h later. Are those weird hours? You bet, but once you understand it is part of the game, it sure has big benefits.
I think we were 3 or 4 airplanes on the west coast at that time lol, plus a couple of owls. And layovers are longer

Yeah that’s tough stuff, but not the Cargo norm although hub turns are not ideal as well.
