Just got the invite for the July 6th class. Paperwork incoming soon. Does anyone know what the training compensation is like or is it just MPG?

Welcome to the family When I went trough training less then a year ago, was guaranteed plus per diem, but somebody here in the forum said if they pay you for a hotel room you don’t get per diem (Paid hotel was not an option back then). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Sounds like things are moving along nicely over there... Can one of you comment on the type of trips being done and typical schedule? Is it long multi day trips or more turns and 2-3 day type trips. I would be a commuter (for a little while at least) and am just trying to get a picture of how it would be. Thanks so much!

thanks for the info. Can you speak more for what training is like? I am already typed (but way more hours in the 757 than 767), but just wondering if there’s breaks every so often (1-2 days off after 5-6 days of class) or if it’s just straight through? What’s the training culture like? Is it a PC checkride or AQP? Thanks for any info you have.
Training is relaxed, they try very hard to make sure you pass everything When I went through we did have a couple days off every week The checkride is part 121 (no AQP) Study hard and show you want to be there and you’ll be fine, nobody is trying to get you or want you to fail. Also very important, you need to be very flexible, you might change classroom and buildings every week or sim time and day might change, just roll with the punches Cooperate, graduate With a type on the 767 will be cake. Good luck Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Things are changing at AJT Traditional trips are one day Caribbean/Central America turns out of MIA, however it seems we are going towards the ACMI model with a push for more ETOPS flying were you might stay out anywhere from 3 days up to two weeks Everybody’s schedule is different, your milage may vary Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
