If I wind up an ACMI lifer, I won't care. I'd say it is very likely to be the case as I have done nothing to change that possibility.
100% honest here, I am putting all of my effort into other income streams outside of aviation, not trying to secure a better contract at another airline. Need to diversify, *****es.

Dave Ramsey said something about the average millionaire has 7 sources of income. Pretty interesting.

I don’t follow everything he says as gospel, but he’s certainly a smart dude.

That’s exactly right. The airline pilot gig will
only Net so much cash- need more, must work harder. I’d rather have a few streams on income than jumping for airline to airline wishing for a CBA, and hoping the economy stays strong.

Being 15,000 on the seniority list, even with attrition, is of no comfort with the potential of scheduled 121 carrier management type choose to break the glass and press the “F” Button. I’d say that ACMI seems like a safer bet to one’s career. But one has to look well past the money earned from said carrier as well as diversifying one’s income potential through investments, entrepreneurship, consulting work, etc...

You'll never get rich working for some one else.

Unless you’re corrupt management getting bonuses, golden parachutes, etc at the expense of the employees.
