Giving these management teams the benefit of the doubt only hurts our future, not theirs.
In May of 2015 SA told a new hire class that there would be an "American Airlines like contract at Atlas in one year."

Well, in fairness to the old guys there, they did use to have well over 1000 pilots and a contract that rivaled UPS and FedEx, so you might be able to understand how and why they *****. Maybe you could even learn something from the experience theyve had over the last decade? Nah, lets just be arrogant on the internet while its our turn in the barrel.

Has their negotiating style helped them grow their pay or ABX grow the business? They haven't figured out to even get an interim deal in place to keep ball moving forward. By the time ABX does a deal, ATI pilots may have already begun work on their second deal or the market will have imploded.

Same lesson that the Atlas Union refuses to learn.

Interim deal like accepting scheduling and work rules like ATI? Or less DC match and lower disability pay like ATI? Or no soft pay or pay plus day back reassignment compensation? Or an interim deal that has no scope like ATI's...I will keep that and my retirement and still make more on a concessionary contract.

Do you ever get tired of bashing ATI...maybe you could have picked up some more overtime while Airborne pilots were on furlough, it’s what you guys are good at. We have bad work rules no doubt but we’ll remedy that situation this year. Also, the word scab should be used for those that really are... aka abx pilots that picked up copious amounts of OT while other Airborne pilots were on the street.

I'd ask you to heed your own advice.... that's a powerful word.

Scab management taught ATI pilots well.

Actually no I dont.....they had an opportunity to sign an ACMI leading contract and instead took a low ball pay raise and nothing else to steal business from ABX. What I should respect them? They are idiots. They could have had a great contract AND more business. JH himself has said that is where the bar is set at. They signed a contract with lower disability, lower DC match, no scheduling protection, a scope that does nothing. All compared to a CONSESSARY contract at ABX. There will be nothing better on this next contract..why would there be? They have proven they will settle for less....way less. Also this is an ABX thread that I was responding to a comparison that dynap09 was making with ABX and ATI. Hit close to home did it? Also I did not mention scab..

Your management has already said, "No, you won't," so good luck with that.
