Default Bus pairing #201

Why isnt this disputed? What makes it different from the MEM-IAH-DFW-MEM out-back that was disputed a few months ago??

Must have been picked up out of open time too often.

Where's "Open Mind" when we need him?

Whay makes this a disputable line? The Boeing guys fly this kind of line every night.....and have been for years.

From the SIG notes for March:

A-300: #292, #293 previously disputed for onerous duty and fixed at no cost with layover in DFW after turning thru IAH. Unfortunately unable to be fixed this month even though the company intended to do so.

BTW Its a trip, not a line.

Maybe you "Boeing guys" are tougher than we are. Ask your 727 SIG guys.

Trip/Line.......mea culpa.
Not a Boeing guy. And this trip is certainly easier than the IAH-AFW-MSP-DLH or the LAX-OAK-SLC-BOI trips. I'm just curious what fits in the definition of onerous when disputing a trip and not questioning anybody's toughness. Tough is taking the garbage out without my man slippers on,

Don't hold me to this...But, I think it has to do with it not being a 3 or 4 leg hub-turn. But, a 3 leg AM out and back, that is scheduled to get back at 0840. Or, something like that.

Like I said...Ask the SIG.

You mean a trip that leaves the hotel in LAX at approx 2000L and goes through OAK and SLC before finally landing in BOI at approx 0545 or one that leaves the hotel in IAH at approx 2000 and goes through AFW and MSP before landing in DLH at approx 0600 are not more onerous/unsafe than showing in MEM at approx 0200 and flying to IAH and DFW before landing in MEM at approx 0930? My question was rhetorical......I've flown all three of these trips and 201 is painless compared to the other two.

Well, then maybe we should build them all like that.

Stop thinking of yourself. We're going to have 64 yr old captains soon. How well do you think they'll do on a trip like that.

They'll be on vacation, or using their voluminous sick time......and sitting in my seat.
