Mawk,

At least you read the emails from the union. I just give them the quick delete. I don't know what pairings are disputed or not. I have never flown a disputed pairing before, but sure wouldn't blame anyone that did.

Why don't you spend your energy on something that benefits yourself instead of playing "tattle-tail pairing man". In fact, why not run for the next ACP slot so YOU can change the pairings how you want them to be.

The reality is, we all have our careers to fly and it is up to each of us to police OURSELVES, not you to play watchdog. This airline is populated by compulsive complainers who have no idea what a "good deal" is. If the company told you that you could stay home all month, no flying ever, just come to Memphis to get your paychecks...you'd probably say "can't you just mail em'...GEESHH".

Let's see...we are told "don't fly volunteer and draft", "don't sell your vacation", "don't fly make-up". All so we can tote the line and get a "great" contract. Now with the VEBA hosing the young guys, and age 65 coming straight at us...we are supposed to continue to "walk the line". BS, take care of your own bizness. Leave me to take care of mine.

Before you make false accusations at me....20yr ALPA member, and former MEC member at a previous place.

Excuses, Excuses....just another independant contractor. Quit your whining and get with the program. Oh by the way...I would love it if we could "police ourselves", but as long as knuckleheads like you are out there do "doing whats good for me....duhhh" then sombody has to be watching!!!!

Bus pairing #595 showed up in open time for this week on the 5,6,7 and 8 for FO's this morning. Lets see how fast they get picked up. I am going to bet all 4 of them are gone by 6 PM Elvis time tonight............

any other takers care to make a stab at it?????

A friend who flew a DP said that it was added to his VTO. I don't remember whether he said they built it or he requested that specific pairing. He did say that he may have made a mistake as he was only looking for DP 243 on the 727. I spoke to him and he's not happy that he flew it. He really hates it since he was unaware. I think he'll be more aware of the pairings next bid. He also mentioned that unity is all that we have and that we must preserve it. I know he'll be more observant next time.

He had to request it for it to be added to his VTO. I'm sure it was a mistake he won't make the same mistake again.

Tony how can we have so many stupid/smart guys? Atleast they think they are smart.

Do the Block Reps send any sort of e-mail to the individual picking up these pairings?
