Poll - How will you vote on the new FDX FDA LOA?
#52
We need to convince the "Not my problem" crowd that it IS their problem, too.
#53
If you don't like the LOA don't vote for it.
The consequences:
A. The company will come back with a better, more equitable offer, in order to attract the seniority that they desire.
B. The company will open the FDA's under the current CBA, and they will fill the FDA with junior, to very junior crewmembers, who decide on their own to put themselves in a sh!t sandwich.
C. The company will open the FDA under the current CBA with newhires.
D. The company will fly the freight utilizing an inferior group of foreign pilots and the customer base will suffer the same inferior product that Fedex has produced each time they try to cut corners.
Let the managers who make all of those MBO's make the choice. Then they will find themselves nibbling from the proverbial sh!t sandwich (with limburger cheese).

I say this only to ask, If we vote no what do we do? No one has had an answer to that other than the LOA stinks.

B. Very likely.
C. Likely if (B.) fails, and...
D. Expect Okey-Dokey Airlines to be flying 747's through ANC by next year (Or at least attempting to do so.) (Oh, and don't think it won't happen. Tradewinds is flying 74's now. How much trouble do you think it'll take to add another color to the Rainbow Coalition? Crayola's got a whole boxful!

Convince me
OK, that's my myopic *****ing and I'm glad I got it out.
Now for my angry sarcasm: I'm going to vote for whatever will be best for the majority of Fed-Ex pilots. I think I'll conduct a poll and skew the results to say whatever will back my personal agenda:
1: If we feel our bases are going to change, should we favor the LOA so we can have a say in the process and mitigate some imaginary damage? We won't have time to educate you on this fast moving issue. How could we with slow moving e-mails and INSTANT messaging?
2:If we need to **** on the majority again and it is within our power, can we do so and tell them it's raining again?
PS: If your a management stooley reading this, don't confuse my tone as translating into union division during negotiations. I'm mad at MY union. But it's still MY union. And I still trust them more than a company who went for 10 years without giving the pilots a cost of living raise.
